What you are about to read is the story of The Miracle Crosses of Light that appeared to me a few weeks after I wrote God Made Easy. You see, while I was waiting to find out what was going to happen with the book, and even though everything was unfolding magically, that didn’t stop me from losing faith (the worst thing you can ever lose!)
One night I was really upset that I hadn't heard from the big New York agent. And I convinced myself that this was all just another big tease from the universe, yet another example of God letting me down. I went into a period of despair. The next few weeks became “The Wait,” and all my negative old tapes tried to have their way with me, trying to mess with my head and heart, saying things like, “Who do you think you are writing a book about God?!” I became filled with fear, anxiety, disbelief, loneliness. You name it, I felt it.
I was feeling oh so sorry for myself when I walked into my bathroom (bear in mind, the same bathroom I had walked into for the past year and a half since moving in), when low and behold, shining out at me from the frosted glass window was a golden white cross glowing from the light of the moon. I swear, I could almost hear it singing, "Oh ye of little faith." I stared at it incredulously; how could this be? Why would a nice Jewish girl (who by the way never grew up with crosses) be seeing this amazing bright alive cross out of nowhere? A message from Divinity? That night I cried in awe. I cried in humility. I cried at the brilliance, and I cried at how loved I felt. I literally fell to my knees because the energy coming from it was that intense . The Cross has never left since that night.
It glowed from the moon or ambient light at night and sun by day like a hologram." I later I found out there they had indeed been many miracle reports of these Cosmic Crosses of light that had been occurring all over the world called The Crosses of Light. “My” cross was authenticated as indeed one of these “Miracle Cross of Light” – a Cosmic Cross.
Then it all made more sense to me. The sign of the Cross, associated in the Western world with the Christian faith, is in reality a cosmic symbol, ante-dating the Christian era by a long ways. The cross that came to me is not a “religious” cross but a divine universal kind of energy, a radiant universal light. It made sense that I would receive it, as if to show that this beautiful symbol and light was not reserved for one religion in the same way that is neither is the word GOD. But I really didn’t know just how public I was supposed to go with the whole thing. I however now found myself in a strange position. I didn’t want to be taken as some wacked out religious freak. Especially since the whole message of God Made Easy is that God is not confined to any one religion. Would people understand the all encompassing significance of it? I did allow a few television shows to come and film the cross. Camera crews and producers from Strange Universe, Fox 11, Paranormal Borderline, many of the crew wept at the sight. All who saw it felt transformed, but I slowly began to get the guidance that it was not the right time to go too public with the cross — yet!
By the way, years later when I moved, I had a glass company remove the glass with the cross in it so I could take it with me. (I had heard from the experts that had interviewed other blessed cross receivers that once the Cross has come to you it is yours and it stays forever embedded in the glass).
The glass man that came to replace my old frosted pain of glass was blown away — after 20+ years “in glass” he and his boss had never seen anything like it and when it was replaced with an identical pane and installed in the same opening, no cross appeared there". I still have the cross in the glass and it has been forever embedded in it. People come to my home to witness the cross on an easel with a candle behind it. Or the sun or the moon…. All who come feel awed and healed in different ways. I keep in on my desk and whenever I am writing or doing healing work, I pretty much keep it burning at all times.
